Going with the flow

My "purpose", the thing that gets me going and won't let me stop, is revitalizing the small town I live in.

I've been told that when you are doing what is right for you, you'll feel like you are in a flow and time flies by.  Well, I've been 'flowing' for a while now.  I'm not even certain how it started, but it grows bigger every day.

A desire to have an event to promote the downtown businesses, became an opportunity to unify and form a downtown business group, which lead to creating a monthly promotional event, which lead to a town-wide event, which lead to forming an informal group, Grassroots of Tarboro, which now is leading to filing for non-profit status.

This has all happened in just a matter of a few short months.  One thing is rapidly leading to the next and the pieces are falling into place as if they belonged together.  My days are very full and yet I'm loving it.  I had no clear vision that this was what I wanted to do and yet, by being open to the possibilities and going with the flow, I find myself doing something I love.

It does seems like alot has happened since I met you a few months ago. Everywhere I look now, I see your name (but maybe I'm looking for it, too). You've got some great momentum going. It's amazing to watch. You inspire me!
